New Hospital

As the charitable support organization for the Frank R. Howard Memorial Hospital, Frank R. Howard Foundation is dedicated to raising support to construct the new Hospital & Healthcare Campus. The funds raised by the Foundation will allow the new facility to address the health care needs for the residents of Northern Mendocino County.

Plans for the new hospital campus include a commitment to new “green” building standards known as LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), and will make the Frank R. Howard Memorial Hospital & Healthcare Campus the first rural green hospital in the nation. In addition to constructing a building that is environmentally responsible and recognized as such by the national standard of LEED, the hospital is taking an on-going holistic approach to the long term operation of the facility.
